FIELD: engine devices and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: bubble pump is made in form of three sections of straight pipes and three crank sections with continuous lining made of ceramics resistant to molten aluminium. Said sections of the bubble pump are interconnected provding compression of inner ceramic material by means of compression flange joints to seal connection of said sections against penetration of molten aluminium. Said compression flange joints are configured to provide female/male connection at 45° between the sections of the bubble pump. In particular embodiments of the invention, the ceramic is selected from the group comprising alumina, magnesium oxide, silicate, silicon carbide or graphite and their mixtures. The ceramic can be a carbon-free refractory concrete of 85% Al2O3 with a phosphate binder.
EFFECT: pump with improved characteristics and considerable increase of its service life is provided.
