FIELD: electrochemical industry; methods of deposition of the refractory layer on the substructure.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to protection of the objects and materials intended for production of aluminum by the electrolysis of the saline melt. The produced precursor of the coating contains the silicone resin, the mineral filler and the organic solvent dissolving the resin and forming the suspension with the mineral filler. The silicone resin and the mineral filler are capable to react chemically with formation on the substrate of the solid layer after evaporation of the organic solvent and formation of the cohesive refractory layer - after the sintering. The silicone resin represents polymethyl siloxane or polymethylsilsesqueoxane or their mixture and contains the share of the -OH group substituting the methyl groups. The precursor of the coating is deposited on the definite surface of the component of the electrolyzer with formation of the crude layer and conduct the thermal treatment providing the sintering of the crude layer and formation of the cohesive refractory layer. The component of the electrolyzer represents the anode made out of the carbon material, which includes the component of the anode mount, the electrolysis bath component or its part, the electrolysis bath lining component and-or the cathode unit made out of the carbon material. The invention allows to gain the protective coating possessing the stability with respect to the oxidizing mediums, the molten metal or the saline melt.
EFFECT: the invention ensures production of the protective coating possessing the stability with respect to the oxidizing mediums, the molten metal or the saline melt.
