SUBSTANCE: bio-compatible battery comprises the first hole located in the anode spacer layer; the second hole located in the cathode spacer layer, the second hole is being aligned to the first hole, and wherein the second hole is larger than the first hole, so that when the first hole and the second hole are aligned, the edge of the anode spacer layer is exposed in the second hole; the membrane layer disposed within the second hole and attached to the edge of the anode spacer layer; the first cavity between the sides of the first hole and the first surface of the membrane layer is filled with an anode solution; the second cavity between the sides of the second hole and the second surface of the membrane layer is filled with a cathode solution; and the third cavity is filled with fuel solution, and wherein the channel connects the third cavity to the first cavity.

EFFECT: invention allows to create designs that can effectively retain the chemical composition of the fuel cell.
