BIOMEDICAL ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY ELEMENTS WITH POLYMER ELECTROLYTES Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC G02C7/04 H01M2/02

Abstract RU 2668419 C2

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for forming power supply elements comprising polymer electrolytes. Biocompatible batteries can be used in a biomedical device, such as a contact lens. Said biomedical device contains an electroactive component; a battery including an anode current collector, a cathode current collector, an anode, a polymer electrolyte and a cathode based on a transition metal oxide, wherein the polymer electrolyte contains ion particles; and a first biocompatible encapsulating layer comprising at least an electroactive component and a battery, wherein the anode comprises zinc, the anode and anode current collector are a single layer, the cathode based on a transition metal oxide contains manganese, and the electrolyte contains poly (vinylidene fluoride) and zinc ion and the cathode based on manganese dioxide includes poly (vinylidene fluoride).

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to create a battery with a polymer electrolyte that possesses biocompatibility.
