FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an extraction method for extracting a flavour-imparting component from a tobacco raw material and includes a stage A of heating the tobacco raw material which is subjected to alkaline treatment; and a stage B of bringing the extracted component released into the gaseous phase at stage A into contact with the receiving solvent at normal temperature for any time from the moment when the first condition is satisfied until the moment when the second condition is satisfied.
EFFECT: ensuring the extraction of tobacco material.
