FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gear train contains conjugated twin gears, each consisting of a body and a gear rim with teeth. At the vertex of each tooth of each wheel, along the tooth thickness with adjoining to faces between the vertex and side surfaces of the tooth and inscribing in theoretical extensions of calculated side surfaces of the tooth, there are ridges which have the shape of triangle in their cross section. The vertexes of ridges are equidistant to the circumference of gear rim vertexes; and the height of the ridges is less than the value of axial gap of the gear train.
EFFECT: improved reliability of the gear train.
