FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: gear wheel comprises a body, gear ring with hollow teeth, each of which is made of a single rectangular plate bent along the tooth profile calculated for said wheel, and pairs of circular linings, which outer diameter is equal to the diameter of circumference of gear ring teeth vertices fixed on body ends. The gear ring teeth are fixed between cover plates and on the wheel body. During rotation in advancing side surfaces of the teeth, there are gaps relative to the wheel body. In the areas of plates forming the lagging side surfaces of the teeth, in the area of the teeth vertices and adjacent to said vertices, there are through holes arranged along the width of these sections, inside each tooth cavity there is an insert made in the form of a wedge, which width equals the tooth width of the tooth and having equidistant adjoining to the plate section forming the tooth lagging side surface. The base of the wedge equidistantly adjoins the wheel body. The vertex of the wedge is adjacent to the through holes in the tooth vertex area. The edge of the wedge facing inside the tooth cavity is flat.
EFFECT: improved gear wheel lubrication quality.
