SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for diagnostics of severe hepatic fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis C (HCV) of a natural course with genotype 1, characterized by activity of cytochemical enzymes lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G-6-PDH) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide-diaphorase (NAD-diaphorase) determination in peripheral blood neutrophils and monocytes, and with a decrease in their activity in neutrophils and monocytes by more than three times compared to normal, severe liver fibrosis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows to detect liver fibrosis in chronic hepatitis C in patients who have not received treatment, with a possibility of timely initiation of antiviral therapy.
