An edge (22) is located between the first set of blocks (16a) and the second set of blocks (20a). The edge (22) is separated by at least one third longitudinal groove (32), wherein a plurality of slit-like cuts (34a) are formed in the first set of blocks (16a), the second set of blocks (20a) and the edge (22).
EFFECT: improving the tire performance when braking on ice, while minimizing any reduction in performance when braking on snow.
