FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a composition comprising encapsulated gas microbubbles is described, comprising the following steps: i) providing an aqueous heated solution denatured under the protein heat at a temperature necessary to achieve initial denaturation, wherein the said temperature is in the range of 50 to 100°C; ii) heating gas using heat from the said heated protein solution, wherein gas is heated to a temperature that is not less than a temperature of 20°C below the temperature of the said heated protein solution; iii) mixing heated gas from step (ii) and the heated protein solution from step (i) to produce a heated gas/liquid mixture; iv) dispersing heated gas in the protein solution by applying mechanical shear forces to the heated gas /liquid mixture from step (iii) to produce a gas microbubble composition encapsulated with a denatured protein. A device for producing the composition is also described.
EFFECT: method for producing contrast media for producing a composition containing gas microbubbles encapsulated with denatured protein is produced.
