METHOD OF OBTAINING RADIATION-MODIFIED POLYMER COATING ON STEEL PIPE AND STEEL PIPE WITH RADIATION-MODIFIED POLYMER COATING Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B32B1/08 B32B7/12 B32B15/85 F16L9/02 F16L58/10 F16L59/02 F17D1/02

Abstract RU 2640228 C1

FIELD: machine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining radiation-modified polymer coating on steel pipe comprises applying at least one primer layer on the surface of the steel pipe, applying at least one adhesive layer on the primer layer, with the subsequent applying of at least one polymer layer based on a polymer selected from the group: polyolefins, polysilicones, polyamides, synthetic rubbers on the adhesive layer and radiation modification of the coating with at least one electron accelerator with radiation dose of 1-100 Mrad at a ratio of the speed of movement to the pipe rotational speed equal to 0.1-5.0. The invention also refers to the method of obtaining radiation-modified polymer coating on the steel pipe comprising applying at least one primer layer on the surface of the steel pipe, with the subsequent applying of at least one polymer monolayer comprising a polymer selected from the group: polyolefins, polysilicones, polyamides, synthetic rubbers and a glue composition based on polyolefins, and radiation modification of the coating by means of at least one electron accelerator with radiation dose of 1-100 Mrad at a ratio of the speed of movement to the pipe rotational speed equal to 0.1-5.0 and the steel pipe with a radiation-modified polymer coating containing the coating based on the layers obtained by any of these methods. The coating is radiation-modified with the help of at least one electron accelerator.

EFFECT: increase of impact strength of coating penetration resistance, adhesion strength and stability of polymer coating adhesion during long operation of pipes.
