FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes a method for measurement of the fixation force of the removable plate implant prosthesis for the lower jaw and a device for implementation, refers to dental medicine and can be used in dental prosthetics. Prior to prosthesis installation into the prosthetic bed, a fixing pasty substance is used to fix the prosthesis using on an intraoral element in the form of impression spoon connected to a power beam to the free end of which a force applied by the tensometric sensor to direct the prosthesis out of the prosthetic bed in a vertical or oblique direction. The position sensor records the angle of prosthesis inclination in the transversal plane relative to the initial position of the prosthesis. The tensometric sensor and the position sensor are connected to a multi-channel digital measuring device recording the readings of the applied force and the corresponding inclination angle, and at the time of detachment in the force vertical direction with a valid deviation from the vertical axis of ±1.5° fixation force, characterizing prosthesis retention is measured, and in other cases, in slanting direction - fixation force, characterizing prosthesis stabilization. The method is implemented by means of a device comprising an intraoral element in the form of impression spoon connected to a power beam the free end of which is attached to the tensometric sensor recording the force applied by the operator to direct the prosthesis out of the prosthetic bed up to detachment and is further provided with a position sensor to record the prosthesis inclination angle during direction out of the prosthetic bed. The free end of the power beam, together with the sensors, is installed in the handle-holder body. The sensors are connected to a multichannel digital measuring instrument that records the applied force and the corresponding angle of inclination.
EFFECT: inventions allow effective measurement of the fixation force of the complete removable lower jaw prosthesis by measuring its fixation force, depending on the angle of prosthesis inclination when directing it out of the prosthetic bed.
