FIELD: medicine; prosthetic dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the restoration of complete loss of teeth with orthopedic structures. Cone-beam computed tomography is performed, converting the obtained three-dimensional images into three-dimensional models of the jaws, comparing the obtained images in the virtual space of the three-dimensional graphics software, three-dimensional modeling of the prosthesis base, manufacturing a prosthesis prototype by means of three-dimensional printing of virtual simulated objects, fitting, matching and selection of the prosthesis prototype in patient's oral cavity. At the same time, to take into account the anatomical and topographic variability of soft tissues, a digital model of the prosthetic bed is obtained based on the results of cone-beam tomography performed using a contrast agent and subsequent analysis in three-dimensional graphics editors. The areas that are most suitable for the formation of additional elements of the retention of the prosthesis located in series are determined. Areas with pliable mucosa are identified outside the areas of the exit of the neurovascular bundles and areas of thinned mucosa in the lateral sections of the middle third of the hard palate, about 4–6 mm from the top of the alveolar ridge and the valvular zone in the area of line "A" is retreated and a valve thickening is designed of the surface of the removable a prosthesis facing the prosthetic bed, 0.1–0.8 mm high, depending on the thickness of the soft tissues and a bypass radius of 2–5 mm from the exit point of the neurovascular bundles in the region of the large palatine openings and incisive canal and areas with thinned mucous membrane taken into account when obtaining an individual relief of the prosthetic bed of the upper jaw by performing a correction of the relief of the prosthetic bed and the subsequent manufacture of a prosthesis prototype, the procedure is repeated if individual anatomical and topographic variability in the structure of the tissues of the prosthetic bed is possible, which allows one more valve zone to be located inside.
EFFECT: due to the formation of sequentially located valve zones inward from the boundaries of the prosthetic bed the method allows to increase the retention of a complete removable denture in the upper jaw.
