SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to orthopedic dentistry, and is intended for use in the removal of functional impressions from the upper jaw in the complete absence of teeth. According to the previously taken anatomical impression, a plaster model is made, according to which an individual spoon is made. The distal edge of the tray is modified using Velcro. A heated thermoplastic material is applied to the corrugated surface of the velcro fabric, for example, "Dentafol", with a thickness in the center from 4 to 5 mm and fading to the periphery on the right and left up to 1 mm, leaving the projections of the pterygo-jaw folds free from thermal mass. A functional impression is performed. Tolerance of the anterior soft palate is carried out using a device containing a body, a force measurement unit made in the form of a mechanical dynamometer equipped with a scale for measuring tolerance in the range from 1N to 4N, connected by a rod to a Plexiglas plate, made in one piece with an inclined bracket with an area of 1 cm, the angle of inclination of which to the plate is from 45° to 50°.
EFFECT: invention, due to the modification of the distal edge of the individual tray using Velcro, allows you to accurately display the transition of the hard palate into the soft one and avoid the exit of the impression material beyond the limits of the individual tray, thus increasing the fixation and stabilization of complete removable laminar dentures in the upper jaw, improving the quality of life of patients.
