SUBSTANCE: claimed composition is performed in the gel form and contains magnesium chloride, cellulose selected from hydroxypropyl methylcellulose and methylhydroxyethylcellulose, and water. The ratio between the amount of magnesium chloride and cellulose in the composition is from 0.1 to 16 by weight. A method for manufacturing a composition in the gel form is also provided.

EFFECT: invention provides an effective product to absorb humidity under different environmental conditions, with identical parameters of absorption and regeneration and good mechanical properties.
