FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of surface modification of elastomeric material based on butadiene-nitrile rubber in the form of rubber products involves the treatment of a vulcanizate of the elastomeric material with a solution of the modifying composition - 10-15% solution of fluorinated limit hydrocarbon C20H33F9 in 1,1,2-trifluoro-1,2,2-trichloroethane for 10-20 h at 20±0.5°C. The process is carried out in one stage. After processing, the rubber product is dried to a constant weight.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to simplify the technological process by reducing the stages and time, to ensure technological and environmental safety of production The invention also allows to improve the physical-mechanical characteristics of vulkanizate, lower coefficient of friction and abrasion resistance of elastomeric materials based on butadiene-nitrile rubber on various substrates in their process of the friction contact.
