FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for producing fuels from biomass in which the biomass is heat treated in a temperature range of 150 to 300°C, a reactor (11) with a pressure, increased steam, and air, in which the pressure is dropped upon completion of the treatment. The amount of steam and other gases increased from the collapse is temporarily accumulated in the container (14) with an adaptive volume, and steam and other gases are subjected to heat for at least one heat exchanger (13) so that condensed gases are condensed and the heat of condensation is released to at least one heat exchanger (13). A device for producing fuels from biomass is also disclosed.
EFFECT: optimisation of production costs and reduction of harmful emissions into the atmosphere when receiving fuel from biomass.
