SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely for treating and preventing skin diseases, wound and burn surfaces with high bacterial contamination. Device comprises a radiator with a pulsed xenon lamp in a reflector and a power and control unit with a firing pulse generator, a storage capacitor, a charging device in the form of a high-voltage current source, a control circuit and a pulse transformer. Pulse gas-discharge lamp, the storage capacitor and the secondary winding of the pulse transformer are electrically connected so that they form a discharge circuit. Device also comprises a protective box of opaque materials with holes in the side walls and a hole in the upper edge above the treated part of the patient's body, radiator with a pulse gas-discharge lamp is installed on the upper edge of the box, the outlet hole of the radiator is coaxial to the hole in the upper edge of the box, and the holes in the side walls of the box are made with protective curtains of flexible opaque material.

EFFECT: disclosed is a device for treating wound infection and dermatologic diseases.
