SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hairdressing device 1 for shaping the hair of the desired shape, comprising: a first longitudinal housing 101 enclosing the first hair treatment surface 12 designed to heat by a first electric heating means; a second longitudinal housing 201 containing a second hair treatment surface 22 designed for heating by a second electric heating means; the first housing 101 is made with the possibility to move relative to the second housing 201 from an opened position to a closed position; at least one means 102, 202 for grasping and driving at least one of the housings, the gripping and driving means has a longitudinal axis Lp at least in the closed position of the housings 101, 201; the processing zone Z formed in the closed position has a plane Ps of orthogonal symmetry, the identified plane Ps comprises at least one longitudinal axis Lz of the processing zone Z; the axis Lp of the grasping and driving means is in the identified plane Ps; the axis Lp and the axis Lz intersect in the plane Pz and form an acute angle α, ranging from 25 to 75°.
