FIELD: printing industry.
SUBSTANCE: optical insulator (100) comprises a circuit board (CB) (106) having the first surface (114) and the second surface (122) located opposite the first surface. The CB (106) has a recess (110) extending only partially through this board (106). The first photocell (104) has an active surface and is positioned relative to the first surface (114) of the CB. The second photocell (102) has an active surface and is positioned relative to the second surface of the CB (126). The second photocell (102) is configured to interact with the first photocell (104). At least one of the first and second photocells has its active surface located at least partially in the recess (110). Between the first and second photocells (104, 102), CB section (106) is laid.
EFFECT: use of CB material for physical separation of optoelectronic coupler components, that eliminates the need for protection of the components of the optical insulator subject to insertion in a field device, reduces the spatial requirements for circuit board, as well as the costs for testing.
