SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the development of nonlinear radar (NRL), which search for objects that have nonlinear elements (NE) in their composition. The result is achieved due to the use as ES the sum of two LFM signals for different carrier frequencies and the organization of processing of the signal reflected from the search object on the combined component (the total combinational component together with the second harmonic).
EFFECT: improving the tactical and technical characteristics of non-linear radars, such as resolution, signal-to-sidewall ratio and stabilisation of false alarms.
