FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method includes loading of lump wastes of solid alloys into a cold zone of reactor, and zinc into a hot zone of reactor, distillation of zinc, destruction of lump wastes of solid alloys, cooling of reactor and grinding of destruction product. At that, the process is carried out in two stages. At the first stage after loading the reactor is vacuumazed, then inert gas is supplied to the pressure of 0.5-1.0 atmospheres and the zinc is heated to the temperature of 850-950°C. Then a vacuum of 4-5 Pa is created in the reactor and zinc is kept in it for 5-10 minutes at the same temperature. Then the reactor is cooled, and the second stage is carried out, during which the destruction product is transferred to the hot zone, and next portion of lump wastes of hard alloys is placed into the cold zone and process is repeated. The process of distillation in the hot zone and destruction of the solid alloy in the cold zone takes place simultaneously.
EFFECT: increased productivity, reduction of electric power consumption and cost of processing of wastes of hard alloys.
