FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for chroming of predominantly long rotation bodies, for example, shafts and rods with ledges, conical and convex or concave portions or of other irregular profile with a shift of one part of the profile relative to the other. The installation includes a continuous flow bath, an electrolyte supply and removal system, a product rotation mechanism, a rectifier and current leads, an exhaust ventilation system. The bath is equipped with partitions forming a chroming chamber between each other, and with each other and adjacent walls of the bath - drainage chambers, communicating with the electrolyte removal system. The anode is located in the chroming chamber and is mounted with the possibility of horizontal movement along the product. The anode is fixed to a holder connected to the movable part of the mechanism of anode transverse movement relative to the product. The mechanism of anode transverse movement is fixed to the movable part of the mechanism of horizontal movement, which is longitudinal relative to the product. These transverse and longitudinal movement mechanisms are connected to the anode movement actuators associated with the anode movement programming unit.
EFFECT: improving the quality of the product by applying a more even coating.
