FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used for chromium plating of mainly long bodies of rotation. Proposed plant comprises flow bath with anode arranged therein, electrolyte feed and discharge systems, article rotation mechanism, article supports, current source and current leads, an exhaust ventilation system, a device for horizontal movement of the bath along the article. Bath is equipped with partitions forming a chrome chamber between each other, and between themselves and adjacent walls of the bath - drain chambers, external end walls of the bath and partitions have shaped cutouts, coaxial to the article, and drain chambers are communicated with electrolyte drain system, bath partitions are equipped with detachable shutters, which are installed in profile cuts of partitions and have shaped cutouts located coaxially with article, bath is equipped with additional partition wall with removable gate to form additional chamber in bath on the side of finished product outlet. Inside the bath after the outer end walls there are sealing elements repeating the processed article profile. Note here that bath is moved along treated article by means of horizontal moving device at 2.5-250 mm/min and billet rotation with frequency of 10-50 rpm.

EFFECT: obtaining high-quality coating on the entire surface of a long article owing to ensuring constant contact pressure on the treated surface.
