FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electroplating and can be used for chromium plating of mainly long bodies of rotation. Proposed plant comprises anode flow bath, electrolyte feed and discharge system, article rotation mechanism, article supports, current source and current leads, exhaust ventilation system, device for bath horizontal movement along article, wherein the bath is equipped with partitions forming between each other a chrome plating chamber, and between themselves and the adjacent walls of the bath - drain chambers, the outer end walls of the bath and the partitions have shaped cutouts coaxial to the article, and drain chambers are communicated with electrolyte removal system, bath partitions are equipped with detachable dampers, which are installed in profile cuts of partitions and have shaped cutouts located coaxially with article, bath is equipped with additional partition with detachable gate to form additional chamber in bath on the side of outlet of finished product. Device for horizontal movement of bath, arranged on tank with electrolyte, is installed on rail guides and is configured to move at rate of 1-500 mm/min by means of electric drives, from the ends of which there is a left headstock with an article rotation mechanism placed on it, a current source and a right headstock with an article rotation mechanism placed on it at the article rotation speed of 10-50 rpm, wherein bath is configured for automatic height adjustment by means of lifting mechanism. On both sides of bath at inlet and outlet of article there is a system for controlled supply of gas-liquid mixture "water-air".

EFFECT: obtaining a high-quality coating on the entire surface of a long article while reducing the volume of the electrolyte used.
