FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: in method of manufacturing arrester, which consists in placing construction elements in the shell, including an insulator, filling the shell with electronegative gas, training with subsequent removal of gas from the shell, rinsing it with hydrogen and filling with working gas to a pressure that provides a predetermined dynamic breakdown voltage between the electrodes, after which the electrodes serves voltage pulses in the form of damped sinusoid with a small damping factor with the breakdown of the arrester in the forefront of the first voltage half-wave and conducting training in the operating mode in condition of that dynamic breakdown voltage between the electrodes is at the voltage level of sliding breakdown along the inner surface of insulator with the exception of the possibility of breakdown on the insulator, after training in the operating mode checking the accuracy of dynamic breakdown voltage ratio and sliding breakdown voltage along the inner surface of the insulator ratio selection by reducing the voltage on the arrester electrodes, reducing the magnitude of power source voltage with the translation of the arrester breakdown from the forefront of first voltage pulse half-wave at the forefront of the second negative voltage pulse half-wave from the retranslation of the breakdown from the forefront of the second negative half-wave at the forefront of the first voltage pulse half-wave, establishing the magnitude of power source voltage corresponding to the initial value of dynamic breakdown voltage, re-fixing the value of the dynamic breakdown voltage and its comparison with the value of the dynamic breakdown voltage before the test start, and then selecting the devices in which dynamic re-breakdown voltage is stable and equal to the initial breakdown voltage within the measurement accuracy.
EFFECT: increase in the durability and stability of dynamic breakdown voltage of arrester with hydrogen filling.
