SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a modular installation for the smoking product manufacture, which contains a number of modules having a lot of corresponding interface devices, and a controller adapted to control the mentioned number of modules through the interface devices, in which the modular installation is adapted to process the rods received from the smoking material during the first operation sequence and in which the modular installation can be reconfigured in such a way that the processing of received rods from the smoking material is carried out in the second operation sequence, different from the first operation sequence, in which the first and the second operation sequences represent at least a part of the first and second processes of smoking product manufacture, respectively, each smoking product contains the mentioned rod from smoking material which is smoked during usage.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of changing the configuration of the modular installation.
