SUBSTANCE: longitudinal roof bar assembly comprises an outer body panel, an elongated tubular roof bar with a loop-shaped portion, a cabin trim panel, and an active airbag. The outer body panel includes passing ribs forming flat surfaces and a zone formed between the flat surfaces. The elongated tubular roof bar with a loop-shaped portion comprises a convex area located in said zone and an elongated portion. The cabin trim panel is located at a distance from the roof bar. The active airbag is located between the cabin trim panel and the elongated portion. The rib forms a recess on the wall for mounting an outer seal. The door seal is attached to the wall. According to the second version, the roof bar assembly includes an outer side body element, a longitudinal roof bar, and a curtain airbag.
EFFECT: increasing the inner vehicle space due to the airbag arrangement.
