Installation design of the side airbag device includes a first pillar forming a portion of the front pillar and extending substantially in the vertical direction of the vehicle, and a second pillar forming the other portion of the front pillar. Second pillar is located on the rear side of the vehicle relative to the first pillar at a predetermined distance from the first pillar and extends substantially in the vertical direction of the vehicle. Transparent element forms a jumper between the first pillar and the second pillar. Side airbag device includes a side airbag stored along the roof rail and the second pillar. Side airbag is configured to inflate and unfold in the form of a curtain over the side portion of the vehicle cabin in the event of a vehicle collision.
