FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to versions of a safety shutter for a motor vehicle and a method for folding a safety shutter. Safety shutter includes an inflatable lining and a protective cloth having a connecting edge attached to the airbag and a free length extending from the connecting edge. Lining is folded into folded state, from which it is unfolding in direction of deployment, and free length of web is located adjacent to direction of unfolding lining. Airbag is installed in vehicle for deployment adjacent to opening for vehicle natural lighting. Deployment of the lining during inflation induces the protective web to stretch along with the lining in the deployment direction so that the web covers the outward facing side of the lining (between the lining and the opening for natural lighting) to protect the lining against damage from any object which penetrates into the opening for natural lighting.
EFFECT: proposed are vehicle safety shutter (versions) and its folding method.
