FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: moulding apparatus (1) comprises a rotating drum (5) with moulding cells (6), where food products are moulded from food mass, and a feeder (23) for feeding the food mass, having a feeding channel (24), at least one sealing area (25) located in front of the feeding channel in the drum rotation direction, and/or a sealing area (26) located behind the feeding channel in the drum rotation direction, and a flexible gasket (7) pressed to the outer surface of the drum (5) and due to that creating a seal between the feeder (23) and the drum (5). The apparatus comprises a stabilizing unit (56) for pressing the gasket (7) to the side drum surface with using pressing-up means (50-55).
