FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used to study the coefficients of static and dynamic friction of feed, in particular root crops, on various surfaces. Device for determining the coefficient of friction of root crops, comprising a frame with an attached motor, on the shaft of which there is a removable disk with the studied surface, and equipped with a frequency converter, which allows smoothly adjusting the frequency of rotation of the removable disk, screw mechanism, with the help of which a gap is made between the cage and the removable disc, characterized by the fact that the upper and lower supports are fastened to the upper part of the frame coaxially with the shaft of the electric motor with an axle installed in them, on which a coil spring and a carrier are mounted, to which the cage with the recording device is rigidly attached, the removable disc is driven by an electric motor or a switchable worm gear.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the accuracy of the results of studies of the process of static and dynamic friction of root crops on various surfaces.
