SUBSTANCE: group of inventions includes a toner, an image forming apparatus, and a working cartridge. Moreover, the toner contains: a binder resin and a release agent. Toner has a second peak particle diameter ranging from 1.21 to 1.31 times larger than most frequent diameter particle size distribution based on the amount of toner, and wherein toner has a particle size distribution (volume average particle diameter/ number average particle diameter) ranging from 1.08 to 1.15.
EFFECT: provision of toner that provides electrophotography, which improves the cleanability of spherical toner on any medium, prolongs the latent image carrier life and forms an image of good quality, improves the cleanability of spherical toner on the intermediate element transfer over a long period of time in any environment, prolongs the intermediate transfer element life, prevents contamination of a developing element and generates an image of good quality.
