SUBSTANCE: method consists in simultaneous reception by two antennas of a signal of unknown source and a signal of reference station retransmitted by a main and a mirror satellites, determining the arrival time differences and Doppler frequency shifts of the sought and reference signals, using the reference signal to determine the frequency difference of heterodynes of two satellites.

EFFECT: simplification of the method of determining the coordinates of US signals on the earth surface, namely, the elimination of the procedure of synchronizing the equipment of the measuring station due to determining and compensating of the frequency mistuning of the SS equipment directly when conducting location-based measurements.
