FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of polyethylene production, more particularly to the slurry transfer technology between two or more polyethylene polymerization reactors. Method for carrying out the process in the polyethylene production reactor system comprises continuous discharging of the transferred slurry from the first polymerization reactor via the transfer line to the second polymerization reactor, where the transfer suspension comprises the diluent and the first polyethylene, which discharges the product slurry from the second polymerization reactor, where the product suspension contains the diluent, the first polyethylene and the second polyethylene, the pressure loss is determined because of the friction in the transfer line and adjustment of the process variable in response to the pressure loss, which exceeds the predetermined value.
EFFECT: invention provides for the increased productivity of the polymerization line and for the achievement of the desired polymer characteristics.
