FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: according to the method prior to processing the part is set so that its pressing direction vector is parallel to the electrode wire, the voltage for process current source, then the electrode wire is moved to reach a tight contact with the part along the entire processing length, the current, passing through the electrode wire, is measured in this area of part processing, and then the electrode wire is removed from the part and the first area of the part is processed with the electrode wire at a set pressure. Then the electrode wire is led to the next in-process area of the part, where, providing there is a tight contact of the electrode wire with the part, the current is controlled until it reaches the value, used in the processing of the first area, the current value is adjusted by changing the ratio of lengths in the in-process and first areas of the part, the voltage in electrodes is measured, then the obtained voltage value is transmitted to the process current source and the next area of the part is processed by the electrode wire at this voltage. The device comprises of an electrode wire, a process current source, a voltage meter between the electrode wire supports serving for braking and tension of the electrode wire while rewinding, and a current meter passing through the electrode wire. Moreover, the device is provided with a voltage regulator connected to the current controller through the process current source, a position sensor of the electrode wire axis relative to the position of the part and a length indicator of the in-process part of the part.
