FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: in a technique for knee joint osteoarthrosis, which includes X-ray examination to obtain an X-ray, the X-ray is digitized. On the obtained digital image of the knee joint x-ray, an area of interest is selected in the region of the subchondral bone of the medial tibial plateau, along which a three-dimensional grayscale graph is plotted. The values of the number of extrema of the high intensity peaks at the base of the Y-axis contour (EM), intensity of the maximum (MaxP) and the minimum (MinP) peaks, and the difference between the maximum and minimum peaks (D) are determined. The remodeling coefficient is calculated by the formula: OArem=(-0.02×Ln(MaxP))+(0.42×Ln(MinP))+(-0.41×Ln(D))+(-0.41×Ln(EM)), and at a value greater than minus 1.3414 knee joint osteoarthrosis is diagnosed.
EFFECT: invention allows to improve the diagnosis of knee joint osteoarthrosis and to prescribe timely treatment.
