FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for treating osteoarthrosis of knee joint. PRP is introduced into the cavity of the knee joint from its lateral side at the level of the middle edge of the external edge of the patella, for the PRP introduction into the medial condyle of the hip, a point located in the forward projection at 2 cm proximal to the articular line of the knee joint is first determined on its surface, and in lateral projection – on border between front and middle thirds of medial condyle of thigh. Needle is then inserted through the marked point towards the medial condyle of the thigh. When PRP is introduced into the medial condyle of the tibia, a point is determined on its surface in forward projection 3.5–4.0 cm distal from the articular line of the knee joint, and in the lateral projection – on the border between the medial and medial thirds of the medial surface of tibia and the needle is drawn to the distal mid point of the intercondyloid elevation of the tibia. If patellofemoral arthrosis is present, PRP is added to the patella and the patellar surface of the thigh.

EFFECT: method provides higher clinical effectiveness in osteoarthrosis of the knee with the possibility of early renewal of the load on the operated lower extremity due to the combined intraarticular and intraosseous administration of PRP.
