FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: method for delivering a video stream to be performed in a network transmission device is proposed and comprises: detecting a stream transmitted to a group of subscribers; searching for a stimulating segment in the detected stream; transmitting the first substitute stimulating segment selected based on the subscriber attribute relating to the first subscriber to the first subscriber and replacing the said stimulating segment; transmitting the second substitute stimulating segment selected based on the subscriber attribute relating to the second subscriber to the second subscriber and replacing the said stimulating segment; and resuming the transmission of the said detected stream to the first subscriber and the second subscriber after the transmission of the first and the second replacement stimulating segments, respectively.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of targeted advertising by selecting individual stimulating segments addressed to specific subscribers, and selectively inserting these segments into the broadcast stream.
