FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to oncology and can be used in pulmonology, therapy, epidemiology, disease prevention, in the field of demographic research. Level of cancer risk in each patient is determined in three stages. First stage consists in preparation of an individual card of lung cancer risk factors which includes data on the field, age, place of residence, body type, height, weight, type of nervous system, blood group, Rh factor, obesity level, malignant neoplasms in blood relatives, nature of work, occupational hazards, smoking, environmental factors, sleep duration, air travel, number of X-ray studies, nature of nutrition, amount of liquids drunk, alcohol consumption, trauma, operations on chest, lung; chronic lung diseases, chronic diseases, injuries and operations on other body parts; disorders of homeostasis, oncomarkers; presence of cancer mutations typical for lung cancer. At the second stage a table of cancer risks is formed, including the degree of influence of each factor in points according to the "table of lung cancer risks". At the third stage the magnitude of the lung cancer risk is determined in percentage terms by mathematical formula.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the accuracy of determining the risk level of developing lung cancer in an individual patient with the formation on this basis of a particular risk group, by identifying risk factors for lung cancer and using a mathematical formula for calculation.
