FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to oncology, urology. Risk factors are determined: age, height, weight, growth-weight ratio, constitution, type of nervous system, blood group, Rhesus factor, weighed oncology heredity, nature of labour, smoking, number of X-ray examinations of chest, air travels in hours, duration of sleep, number of meals a day, nature of food, amount of liquid drunk a day, amount of alcohol per month, presence of previous prostate diseases, presence of disturbed homeostasis, level of prostate-specific antigen (PSA). Risk factors are evaluated in points according to the table contained in the description. Risk of prostate cancer (S, %) is determined by the declared formula. If the value S is less than −20 %, 0 group is diagnosed - the risk of prostate cancer is absent. If S ranges from −19 % to −10 % - I group - the risk is low. If S is from −9 % to −1 % - II group - risk is reduced. If S 0–9 % - III group - average risk population. If S is 10–19 % - IV group - the risk is higher. If S 20–29 % - V group - high risk. If S is 30 % or higher, the VI group shows absolute risk.
EFFECT: method enables assessing the risk of prostate cancer by evaluating a complex of the most significant risk factors.
