FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway automation and telemechanics for detecting standstill of a rail vehicle. System comprises at least one control device, which is connected or configured for connection to receive sensor signals, wherein the sensor signals represent, respectively, at least one speed, at least one bus connection through which the control device is connected or configured to be connected to the data bus of the rail vehicle for communication thereof. Control device is configured to generate a standstill signal based on the sensor signals and transmit said signal to the data bus; the standstill determination device is configured to receive standstill signals via the data bus and to determine, based on the received standstill signals, whether the rail vehicle is in a standstill state.
EFFECT: higher reliability of detecting standstill of a rail vehicle.
