FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: gravity force of accelerating tank with water which through bearing cables and system of units is connected to a launch cage with rocket located therein is used to impart initial acceleration to the rocket. The rocket inside the cage is fixed by pneumatic cylinders symmetrically enclosing the rocket over the entire height. The acceleration of the cage with rocket and accelerating drop of the tank is performed in specially equipped shafts. At the moment of rocket disengagement from the launch cage and activation of cruise engines, discharge valves are opened to empty the accelerating tank. The braking cables connecting the launch cage with brake chains located on the bottom of launch shaft as well as cable brakes are used to stop the system.
EFFECT: increase of payload mass delivered by the rocket with the same fuel capacity.
