FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for production of (Z)-ethyl 2-(4-(4-chlorophenyl)-2,4-dioxo-3-(3-oxo-3,4-dihydroquinoxaline-2(1H)ylidene)butanamido)-4-methyl-5-phenylthiophene-3-carboxylate of formula , by reacting 3-(4-chlorobenzoyl)pyrrolo[1,2-a]quinoxaline-1,2,4(5H)-trione and ethyl 2-amino-5-methyl-4-phenyl-4,5-dihydrothiophene-3-carboxylate in anhydrous acetic acid. Technical result is a new method for obtaining of (Z)-ethyl 2-(4-(4-chlorophenyl)-2,4-dioxo-3-(3-oxo-3,4-dihydroquinoxalin-2(1H)-ylidene)butanamido)-4-methyl-5-phenylthiophene-3-carboxylate, which reduces the reaction time, avoids application of expensive solvent (acetonitrile) to synthesize and recrystallize the compound and increase the yield of the desired product that can be used to treat type 2 diabetes.

EFFECT: compound application efficiency increase.
