FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to maxillofacial, anaplastic surgery, and neurosurgery. To correct the shape of eye fissure during retraction and eversion of inferior eyelids, plantation and fixation of spring inlay modeled by the shape of the tarsal plate is performed. Discission of skin is made, having receded from the ciliary margin downwards 2–3 mm. Implant in the formed bed is placed and fixed it with interrupted stitches first on the anterior surface of the tarsal plate, then on periosteal coverage near the medial and lateral orbital margins. In this case, a ruptured implant is used, made by photopolymerization of a light-sensitive composition based on oligomers and monomers of a-methyl-acrylic layer.
EFFECT: method allows to negate effectively retraction and eversion of the inferior eyelid, providing stability of the cosmetic effect and preventing recurring with a decrease in traumatism.
