SUBSTANCE: split turning tool includes a holder having a holding portion and a head with a mounting insert for fixing the cutting insert, a sticking and a a threaded mechanism, located in the head protrusion from the side of the holding part, with the possibility of interaction of its thrust screw with one of the ends of the plate for its movement and fastening. The sticking is made by a two-arm with a transverse groove parallel to the main cutting edge. The holder can be configured to move the sticking in the direction of the top of the turning tool.

EFFECT: increasing the resource and reliability of fastening the resharpened plates, reducing the range of tools and reducing operating costs.
