SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of diagnosing transformer equipment, namely to the quality control of paper-oil insulation of transformers. Device for determining the degree of polarization of the paper insulation of a transformer consists of an optical fiber cable with a tip, a radiation source and a radiation receiver with a communication interface.
EFFECT: continuous control of the degree of polymerization of paper insulation of transformer equipment in real time.
