SUBSTANCE: shock absorption assembly comprises a bumper attached to an element to be crushed. The element to be crushed is attached to the bumper and the spar. The exterior structure of the body forms an opening, and the element to be crushed extends through the opening and is not attached to the exterior structure of the body. A loading path for a shock at a low speed from the bumper through the element to be crushed and into the spar is provided. The exterior structure of the body forms an opening, through which the element to be crushed is mounted to avoid damage to the exterior structure of the body, which may include a carrier panel for tail lamps, an elevating body tailgate, and a tail lamp.
EFFECT: weight reduction while providing a single spar structure and for vehicles with a towing hitch for a trailer.
