FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rear part of automobile body. Proposed energy absorbing part of vehicle body has end part 3 of body, outer panel 2 and inner panel 1. Inner panel 1 is provided with four points for fastening the panel to body by means of brackets 4, 5 increasing rigidity of structure, and points of connection at upper longitudinal flanges aligned with points of connection of outer panel which facilitates mounting of bumper. Inner panel 1 is provided with imp[act distribution ribs 11 in its middle part, and with stiffening ribs 10 along upper longitudinal flange of end parts. EFFECT: improved rigidity of structure and energy absorbing properties of vehicle, simplified mounting and demounting of bumper. 3 cl, 3 dwg
