FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to embodiments of a deflector unit for a vehicle and embodiments of a front end assembly for a vehicle with a deflector unit. Deflector unit has a bumper and a spar, which are connected by a crushing element. Deflector unit absorbs impact forces in a shock test with a small overlap, a stiff obstacle, directing the impact from the obstacle laterally towards the longitudinal member. Guide and pusher, such as a wheel-like roller, spherical roller, a sliding shoe or fastening means are received in the guide member which forms a guide surface extending longitudinally to guide the rear end of the deflector assembly with a full front impact in the longitudinal direction.
